Jamaica: Anushka Sharma joined husband Virat Kohli as the Indian team cricketers paid a visit to the High Commissioner’s residence in Jamaica during the course of the Test series against West Indies.

The official Twitter page of Jamaica High Commission shared the pictures of the meeting. “A welcome reception was hosted by HE Sevala Naik, High Commissioner and Mrs. Sunitha Naik in honour of visiting Indian Cricket Team led by Mr. Virat Kohli, Captain of the Indian National Team,” the official page tweeted out.

India registered a resounding 318-run victory in the first Test and handed a mammoth 257-run defeat to West Indies in the final Test in Jamaica to go on the top of the World Championships points table with 120 points.

It was also India’s 8th successive Test series win over the West Indies and their first series sweep in the Caribbean.

On the course, Virat Kohli also became the most successful Indian captain in Test cricket as he beat MS Dhoni’s record with his 28th win in the longest format.

Virat Kohli has been joined by his wife Anushka Sharma since the start of the West Indies tour where India won the swept the 3-match T20I series, won the ODI series 2-0 and won the Test series 2-0.

Kohli and Anushka could be seen waiting patiently and smiling from ear to ear as the boy signed a piece of paper and handed it over to the cricketer.

Captain Virat Kohli’s next challenged starts when India will take on South Africa in the three-match T20I series and same number of Test matches. The first T20I is to begin from September 15 in Dharamshala.
