Mumbai: After enthralling fans with the gripping first trailer, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s much-ambitious Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy have just released the second trailer of the film, making us even more restless for this October 2 release.
While the first promo had given a sneak-peek into this historical based on true story, the latest one further elaborates on the the life of India’s rebel, our nation’s first freedom fighter Narasimha, played by Chiranjeevi.
Right from the first scene till the end of the promo, you will be compelled to stay glued to your screens courtesy Chiranjeevi’s power-packed performance. What an insane energy; especially when he screams and demands India’s ‘Swatantram’ .
For those unaware, Narasimha Reddy, a real life historic figure, gave his blood and sweat and rebelled against the British rule for 10 years before the First War of Independence of 1857.
He fought against the East India Company’s atrocities, a warrior who transformed into an ideology for his hell-bent attitude on defying the East India Company’s rule.
Amitabh Bachchan plays guru to Narasimha in the film which also stars Nayantara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Niharika Konidela, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Anushka Shetty in pivotal roles. The film is reportedly made on a massive budget of Rs 270 crore.
Recently, SS Rajamouli had compared Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to Baahubali saying how it has more VFX effects than Baahubali. “This is a historic movie. I first congratulate Paruchuri Brothers for conceiving the idea of telling Narasimha Reddy’s story. It was a Telugu warrior to have waged the first rebellion against the British.
Ram Charan dared to produce the movie and Sye Raa is a gift not just to Chiranjeevi garu but everyone. I know how difficult it is to make an emotional film in the milieu of VFX. I congratulate director Surender Reddy for pulling it off.”
