The addition in the number of pandals signifies that the city will witness an addition to the celebrations that will take place over the course of 11 days, beginning from September 2.
Majority of the Ganpati pandals are located in Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, Kandivali, and Dahisar. Alongside, the roads of Kurla too are expected to witness a considerable number of Ganpati pandals.
Meanwhile, the Samanway Samiti President Naresh Dahibavkar stated that despite the economic slowdown in the country, there has been an increase in the number of new Ganpati pandals which is a good indicator. He also added that several of these new pandals had been registered a few months ago.
